REQUIREMENTS:

To develop a refreshed EFC website on wordpress platform from asp and html static site, the client requested to have access and be able to do daily site updates like the news and event changes on their own.

We needed to make it fully responsive accross all devices as it was not mobile friendly.

CHALLENGES:

Having to work with a php developer in organising wordpress modules and relevent plugins to use for the site was very challenging, the website had a lot of pages and new functions.

The design was a bit complex in which i needed to do a lot code research and javascripts, mostly making it fully resposinve was more difficult.

Had to work with a lot of graphics and had to make sure that all the spacing and style tile is implemented correctly.

SOLUTIONS:

We used bootstrap as our framework which helped with managing all the div columns needed to make the website fully responsive. I started coding the most important pages espescially the news and fighter profile pages which had a lot of content to populate and make sure that all the information from the old website were all added on the new site from the CMS backoffice which was done by the help of other designers.

I made sure that the html part was easy to read and made comments where neccessary for the php developer to implement modules and wordpress plugins.

RESULTS:

The site was done on time time and successful, the client was happy and we provided training and a manual on how to do updates, there were changes needed from the client in regards to the CMS and those were implemented to make it easy for the client to manage and control what goes on the site.
